Botox Hair Treatment
Botox hair treatment is a deep conditioning and restorative hair therapy designed to repair damaged hair, smooth frizz, and add shine and softness. Despite the name, it doesn’t actually contain Botox (botulinum toxin). The term is used because it works like a “rejuvenation” for your hair, similar to how Botox refreshes the skin.
What It Does:
Repairs dry, brittle, or chemically damaged hair
Fills in hair fibers with proteins, vitamins, amino acids, and natural oils
Reduces frizz and flyaways
Adds shine, softness, and smoothness
Improves manageability
Can slightly straighten wavy or curly hair, but it’s not a chemical straightener
Key Ingredients (varies by brand):
Collagen complex
Keratin
Amino acids
Vitamins (B5, E, etc.)
Natural oils (argan, coconut, etc.)
Difference from Keratin Treatment:
Botox: Focuses on repair, hydration, and volume control (safe for all hair types, no harsh chemicals).
Keratin: Focuses on straightening (contains stronger chemicals, sometimes formaldehyde).
How Long It Lasts:
Results typically last 2–4 months with proper aftercare.
Use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners to maintain results.
Procedure in Salon:
1. Hair is washed with clarifying shampoo.
2. Botox formula applied section by section.
3. Left on for 30–60 minutes.
4. Rinsed (some treatments are leave-in).
5. Blow-dried and flat-ironed to seal product.
Best For:
Frizzy or unmanageable hair
Color-treated or chemically damaged hair
People who want smooth, shiny, but not pin-straight hair
